My Scrapbooking History

I began scrapbooking about 4 years ago with a group of women who I view as real pro's! Their pages were just beautiful and I was so proud when I pasted with a glue stick a few pictures onto a page, added a couple of stickers and thougth I had created a masterpiece! Then I realized how much more to scrapbooking there was to learn! Over the years I have added many new techniques to my collection of scrapbooking necessities. My favorite technique is using my Cricut Expression machine! Anything is possible with a Cricut and a few cartridges. I am always looking for new cartridges and have found the best buys at Cricutmachine.com and Ebay.com. I check out what is new on the Cricut website then start my bargain searches! I have made many scrapbooks for friends and enjoy designing pages with new themes in each book. I hope you will join my blog and enjoy some of my work!

What's Up With Me!

Hello everyone! I haven't been making cards for the last 2 weeks or so - been busy nursing a burned leg and a blood clot in my arm. Actually been nursing them for the last month but just have decided that I wanted to wallow in my wounds for a week or so.  Anyway, both are coming along well thanks to several doctors appointments, 2 pieces of silver that was placed on the burn, and blood thinners.  I did wake up the other night with blood all over both hands, my neck and face. At first I thought of those mystery movies where you wake up only to find that you have killed your husband while he was sleeping......he was snoring so I felt he must be okay.

I spent last weekend visiting with my super friend Rita.  We planned to scrapbook Saturday and Sunday and hoped to get much accomplished.  Between our talking, snacking and lounging around, we each managed to create 4 pages in our scrapbooks BUT they were really great pages!  I have been working on my grandson Donnell's book and Rita worked on her winter pictures of Zara, Ian and Kai.  I know she would be happy for me to write about her grandbabies!

So, now I have to get creative again this weekend and make Easter cards for my Grandkids, Dad and Step-Mom, and my Grandmother.  Got some ideas kicking around in my head - just need to put them together.  Hope you all have a great weekend - it is 80* here in Tennessee with a beautiful breeze.  Loving it after all that snow!

Peace,
Sherry
